Join Tata Steel Ludhiana – India’s First Scrap-Based EAF Steel Plant

Tata Steel Ludhiana is home to Tata Steel India’s first scrap-based Electric Arc Furnace (EAF), a state-of-the-art green steel manufacturing facility with a capacity of 0.85 MTPA, driving sustainable steelmaking in India.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a landmark project and gain hands-on exposure during a critical commissioning and ramp-up phase. Work with advanced technologies, world-class equipment, and experienced industry professionals while building expertise at one of Asia’s most modern steel plants.

Skills

Desired Experience

- Minimum 3 years experience in steel plant maintenance preferably in:
- Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) / BOF / Ladle Furnace / CCM
- Rebar & Rolling Mills
- Utilities & Water Treatment Systems
- EOT Cranes
- Power Distribution & Substations
- Industrial Automation & Instrumentation

- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Familiarity with PLC, HMI, drives, switchgear,



transformers, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, rotating equipment, and industrial utilities

Other details

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering from an AICTE/UGC-approved institute.
