The AMS Quality Lead / Technical Lead is responsible for overseeing end-to-end Application Maintenance and Support (AMS) operations, ensuring operational stability, service quality, and continuous improvement across application and infrastructure environments. This role serves as the primary point of coordination between Business, Development, QA, DevOps, DBA, and Operations teams to ensure timely delivery of business requirements, production stability, and adherence to organizational standards.
The role combines technical leadership, AWS cloud expertise, DevOps coordination, database administration, vulnerability management, and service governance to deliver high-quality solutions while maintaining application reliability, infrastructure efficiency, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage both Development and DevOps teams, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment with business priorities.
Prioritize incoming business requirements and coordinate end-to-end delivery across developers, DevOps, QA, and support teams.
Own the complete lifecycle of Jira tickets, ensuring proper assignment, tracking, prioritization, documentation, and timely closure.
Coordinate production deployments and promote application changes across higher environments by following established release and change management processes.
Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure smooth CI/CD pipeline execution based on developer requirements and release schedules.
Oversee infrastructure-related issues, setting stability, and defect resolution in collaboration with the DevOps team.
Drive AWS cost optimization initiatives by identifying underutilized resources, recommending improvements,



and ensuring efficient cloud resource utilization.
Coordinate infrastructure enhancements and operational improvements while maintaining high application availability.
Serve as the dedicated Database Administrator (DBA) within the AMS team, owning database-related support, performance tuning, backup and recovery, user management, and issue resolution.
Monitor application and infrastructure health using AWS monitoring tools and operational dashboards.
Lead runtime vulnerability management by performing the initial analysis of security reports generated from Prisma and Brinqa.
Analyze security findings, identify impacted applications, determine ownership, and coordinate remediation activities with development and DevOps teams.
Track vulnerability remediation progress and ensure timely closure of security findings based on organizational SLAs.
Review deployment readiness, Unit Test documentation, technical documentation, and release validation before production deployments.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, QA, and operations teams to ensure successful implementation of enhancements and production fixes.
Prepare operational dashboards, quality metrics, release reports, vulnerability reports, and management status updates.
Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational excellence across AMS engagements.
Mentor developers, DevOps engineers, and support analysts by promoting coding standards, deployment best practices, documentation quality, and technical excellence.
Ensure adherence to ITIL processes, Change Management, Incident Management, Release Management, and organizational governance standards.




Maintain SLA compliance while ensuring high-quality service delivery across all production support activities.

Must-Have Skills
8–9 years of experience in Application Development, Production Support, and IT Operations, with at least 5 years focused on AWS cloud environments.
Strong understanding of AWS services including EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Glue.
Strong expertise in PostgreSQL database administration, SQL optimization, and database performance tuning.
Hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, and SQL scripting.
Experience coordinating DevOps activities, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure changes, and production deployments.
Proven experience leading Development and DevOps teams while managing business priorities and production support.
Strong understanding of ITIL processes, Incident Management, Change Management, Release Management, and Problem Management.
Experience managing runtime vulnerabilities using security platforms such as Prisma and Brinqa.
Proficiency with Jira, ServiceNow, CloudWatch, and enterprise monitoring tools.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Experience driving AWS cost optimization and infrastructure governance.
Strong focus on operational excellence, quality assurance, and SLA management.
