- Job Description:

- - The Client is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead the development and delivery of Digital Cockpit features across advanced vehicle programs. This role focuses on infotainment, connectivity, and HMI systems, ensuring robust requirements, system architecture, integration, and validation. You will act as the technical focal point for Digital Cockpit features, working cross-functionally with engineering teams, suppliers, and OEM stakeholders to deliver seamless, customer-focused user experiences.

- Key Responsibilities:

- - Define, decompose, and manage Digital Cockpit feature requirements, ensuring full traceability across system, software, and hardware
- Develop feature specifications, functional and system requirements, user journeys, and interface definitions (ICDs/APIs)
- Support system architecture development, trade-off studies, and technical decision-making
- Lead or contribute to key feature areas including:
- Infotainment: navigation, media, voice assistants, connected apps, smartphone projection (Apple CarPlay, Android Auto), OTA updates
- HMI Systems: Centre display, instrument cluster, HUD, multi-display interactions, UX optimization
- Connected Features: cloud services, mobile app integration,



remote vehicle functions, telematics and subscriptions

- Define and manage system and software interfaces across infotainment, connectivity, vehicle networks, and backend systems
- Support integration, verification, and validation activities including DVP planning, vehicle integration, and defect resolution
- Contribute to acceptance testing, program gateway reviews, and technical risk management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, HMI/UX, electrical, cybersecurity, and suppliers

- Requirements:

- Key Requirements:

- - Degree in Systems, Electrical, Automotive, or Software Engineering (or related discipline)
- ~5+ years’ experience in automotive systems engineering
- Proven experience delivering Digital Cockpit, infotainment, or connected vehicle features
- Strong expertise in requirements engineering, system architecture, integration, and validation
- Valuable understanding of vehicle E/E architectures and networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 26262, ISO 21434, and SUMS

- Tools & Knowledge (desirable):

- - Experience with tools such as DOORS, Polarion, JIRA, Enterprise Architect, CANoe/CANalyzer
- Exposure to MBSE, SysML, or Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of diagnostics (UDS, DoIP), Android Automotive, QNX, Automotive Linux, or cloud-connected platforms
