Job Description

Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finishing Engineer with a background in multiplex or project management consultancy (PMC).

Responsibilities

- Oversee and manage the finishing works for a multiplex project, ensuring high-quality execution and adherence to project specifications.

- Coordinate with the project team, including vendors, architects, and contractors, to ensure timely completion of finishing tasks.

- Supervise and guide the workforce in carrying out interior fit-out, false ceiling, flooring, carpentry, painting, and other finishing activities.

- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for finishing works, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery.





- Collaborate with the billing department to review and verify project invoices and resolve any billing discrepancies.

- Manage vendor relationships, including procurement and negotiation of materials and services required for finishing works.

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards and promote a safe working environment for all workers on the site.

- Provide technical expertise and support in areas such as electrical systems, CCTV, fire fighting, and protection and detection.

Qualifications

Civil Diploma or B.Tech degree in Engineering.

- 2-5 years of experience as a Finishing Engineer in a multiplex or PMC background.

- Proficient in AutoCAD 2D for creating and modifying design drawings.

- Robust knowledge and experience in interior fit-out, false ceiling, flooring, carpentry, painting, project planning, billing, HVAC, and vendor and architect management.

- Familiarity with commercial and residential projects, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, vendors, and stakeholders.

- Proven ability to solve problems, make decisions, and handle project-related challenges.

Additional Information

This role requires travel as per project requirement.
