Position Summary

The Training & Placement Officer (TPO) shall be responsible for developing and executing the institution's employability, internship, industry engagement, and campus placement strategy across all constituent colleges of Shri Ram Group of Colleges. The incumbent will serve as the primary interface between the institution, industry, recruiters, alumni, and students to ensure outstanding placement outcomes and industry readiness.

Key Responsibilities

1. Placement Strategy & Campus Recruitment

Develop and execute the annual placement strategy across all institutions.

Achieve placement targets for all professional and academic programmes.

Identify, engage, and onboard new recruiters across sectors.

Plan and coordinate campus recruitment drives.

Maintain year-round corporate engagement to ensure continuous hiring opportunities.

Increase average salary packages and placement percentages.

2. Corporate Relations & Industry Partnerships

Build long-term relationships with leading corporates, industries, PSUs, startups, and multinational companies.

Develop strategic MoUs for internships, live projects, industrial visits, and placements.

Organize CEO Talks, Industry Conclaves, HR Summits, and Employer Connect Programs.

Strengthen alumni-industry engagement.

3. Student Employability & Career Development

Conduct Training Need Analysis (TNA) for students.

Develop annual employability calendars.

Coordinate aptitude, reasoning, verbal ability, coding, technical, and domain-specific training.

Organize mock interviews, group discussions, resume-building workshops, and personality development programmes.





Guide students on career planning and higher education opportunities.

4. Internship & Industry Exposure

Facilitate summer internships, winter internships, apprenticeships, and industrial training.

Monitor internship quality and learning outcomes.

Build partnerships for live projects and experiential learning.

Coordinate industrial visits and industry immersion programmes.

5. Placement Operations

Maintain an updated database of recruiters, students, placement statistics, and alumni.

Manage the complete placement lifecycle from employer outreach to offer acceptance.

Coordinate interview logistics, assessment centres, pre-placement talks, and onboarding communication.

Ensure smooth execution of all placement activities.

6. Employer Branding & Outreach

Position SRGC as a preferred talent partner.

Promote institutional achievements, placement success stories, and employer engagement initiatives.

Represent SRGC in HR forums, industry associations, career fairs, and networking events.

Develop placement brochures, employer presentations, and recruitment communication.

7. Data Analytics & Reporting

Maintain accurate placement dashboards and MIS reports.

Analyse placement trends, salary benchmarks, recruiter feedback, and student outcomes.

Present monthly and annual placement reports to the Management.





Develop data-driven strategies for continuous improvement.

8. Accreditation & Quality Support

Support NAAC, NBA, NIRF, and other accreditation processes relating to placements and industry engagement.

Maintain placement documentation, evidence, and statutory records.

Contribute to institutional ranking and quality initiatives.

Desired Qualifications

Master's Degree (MBA preferred) from a recognized institution.

5–10 years of experience in Training & Placement, Corporate Relations, HR, Learning & Development, Business Development, or Talent Acquisition.

Excellent corporate networking and relationship management skills.

Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.

Proficiency in MS Office, CRM/MIS tools, and placement management software

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh (Muzaffarnagar): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
