Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Associate Teacher to support our lead teachers in delivering a high-quality educational experience to students. The ideal candidate will assist with lesson planning, classroom management, and student engagement while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. This role is perfect for an aspiring educator looking to gain hands-on experience and grow in the field of education.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities that meet curriculum goals and engage students.
- Support students individually or in small groups to help them understand assignments and reinforce learning concepts.
- Aid in classroom management, ensuring a secure, respectful, and supportive learning environment.
- Prepare and organize classroom materials and resources for daily lessons.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to the lead teacher to help address individual needs.
- Supervise students during non-classroom activities, including recess, lunch, and school events.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians,



and colleagues as needed, ensuring a collaborative approach to each child’s development.
- Assist in maintaining classroom cleanliness, organization, and supplies.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development as required.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field (preferred) or actively pursuing a degree in education.
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude toward helping students succeed.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all students.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Teaching certification or education coursework completion.
- Experience in classroom management and knowledge of age-appropriate teaching strategies.
