Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to join our energetic team at Lithium Urban Technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable applications using Python, with a particular focus on cloud deployment, data processing, and web services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and Flask.

2. Work with data processing tools and frameworks, particularly PySpark.

3. Design, deploy, and manage Python applications on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

4. Collaborate with DevOps to implement and optimize CI/CD processes using Git pipelines and Bitbucket pipelines.

5. Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support frontend applications and third-party integrations.

6. Ensure the scalability and reliability of all backend services.

7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

8. Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.

9. Continuously discover, evaluate,



and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in Python development, with a deep understanding of the Python ecosystem.

2. Experience in developing web applications using Flask.

3. Hands-on experience with PySpark or similar data processing frameworks.

4. Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

5. Proficiency in implementing and using RESTful APIs.

6. Knowledge of CI/CD tools, with an understanding of Git and Bitbucket pipelines.

7. Strong unit test and debugging skills.

8. Good understanding of containerization technologies, particularly Docker.

9. Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for technical challenges.
