We are seeking a highly skilled Structural FEA Engineer with strong expertise in

structural analysis, finite element modeling, and validation of mechanical

systems. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for structural simulation, design support, and correlation with physical testing across automotive, EV, aerospace, defense, or advanced robotics products. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring structural integrity, durability, safety, and compliance of complex mechanical systems under static, dynamic, fatigue, and impact loading conditions.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform structural finite element analysis (FEA) on components and assemblies,

including static, dynamic, fatigue, buckling, and modal analyses

- Support product design decisions through simulation-driven insights
- Develop high-quality FEA models, including geometry cleanup, meshing, material

definition, contacts, and boundary conditions

- Analyse metallic, and polymer structures used in automotive, EV, or robotics
- Conduct strength, stiffness, vibration, durability, and life prediction analyses
- Perform nonlinear analyses involving contact, large deformation, plasticity, and material nonlinearity
- Support crash / impact / drop / shock simulations where applicable
- Correlate simulation results with physical test data and support root cause analysis
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and testing teams to close design gaps

- Support DFMEA, DVP&R;, and design reviews with simulation evidence
- Work closely with suppliers and internal teams for issue resolution
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal engineering processes
- Prepare and maintain technical reports, analysis summaries, and design recommendations
- Train junior engineers and team members and contribute to knowledge management

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical / Aerospace / Structural Engineering
- 3-8 years of experience in structural FEA and mechanical simulation
- Solid fundamentals in solid mechanics, strength of materials, and structural dynamics
- Hands-on experience with ANSYS, Abaqus, Nastran, OptiStruct, or similar solvers
- Experience in pre-processing and post-processing (HyperMesh, ANSYS, PrePoMax, etc.)
- Good understanding of materials behaviour (steel, aluminium, composites, polymers)
- Experience with fatigue life estimation and durability analysis
- Exposure to prototype testing, validation, and correlation activities
- Ability to interpret and influence engineering drawings and GD&T;
- Knowledge of crashworthiness, impact, or blast analysis
- Experience with optimization techniques (topology, size, shape optimization)
- Familiarity with industry standards (ISO, ASME, MIL-STD, AIS, SAE)
