Responsible for leading mechanical maintenance activities in the DRI plant to ensure high equipment availability, reliability, protected operations, and minimum downtime through effective preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, breakdown, and shutdown maintenance.
- Maintain rotary kiln, cooler, conveyors, crushers, fans, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Improve equipment reliability through root cause analysis and condition monitoring.
- Lead and develop the maintenance team and manage contractor activities.
- Coordinate with Production, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Stores for smooth plant operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and maintenance budgets.
