We are looking for a detail-oriented Underwriting Assistant to support our Property & Casualty underwriting team. The ideal candidate will assist with the policy life cycle, risk assessment, and decision-making, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and providing exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Experience: 1+ year in Property & Casualty underwriting (or relevant qualifications)
Skilled Qualifications: Completed or pursuing CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty
Underwriter) or equivalent preferred
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and analyze insurance applications to determine risk and provide recommendations for underwriting decisions.
- Utilize underwriting tools and systems to oversee each phase of the policy lifecycle.
- Assist senior underwriters with tasks related to policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, and claims.
- Ensure accuracy and meticulous attention to detail in all underwriting processes.
- Communicate with internal teams and external parties to collect information, clarify requirements, and facilitate efficient workflow.
- Compile and maintain documentation and reports for both internal use and regulatory compliance.
- Process applications promptly to meet deadlines and satisfy client expectations.
- Consistently provide outstanding customer service.
