- Independently create and optimize preliminary conceptual design layouts and schematics for grid tied photovoltaic power plants and battery storage systems.

- Assist sales team in interacting with clients and conveying technical details.

- Coordination with the construction & commissioning team

- Perform broad range of engineering calculations - and use of software tools

- Use his/her experience to assist the project team in making design decisions and build consensus within the team.

- Work cross-functionally with sales, project support team and installation teams.

- Performing Site survey and Assisting site surveys.

Requirements

- 2-3 years’ experience in design of solar power systems (1-2 years’ experience in solar rooftop systems)

- Knowledge in National Electrical Code





- Knowledge in Electrical/Mechanical and construction safety including training and requirements.

- Must be proficient in Pvsyst/Helioscope/Aurora (or equivalent) and Google Sketch up.

- Must be proficient in preparing Bill of Material.

- Must be proficient in preparing detailed Drawings.

- Proficient with MS Office

- Strong AUTOCAD skills.

- Ability to think critically, comfort in collaborating with cross-functional team members, and a passion for delivering high quality results

- Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) and valuable command of Technical writing skills

- Ability to organize and prioritise work.

- Ability to think analytically.

- Must be willing to travel to project sites per company requirement.
