Roles & Responsibility

Oversee stitching operations for shoe uppers across manual and automated machines. Ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and productiontimelines. Supervise and train stitching operators to maintain consistency and reduce defects. Coordinate with the cutting, lasting, and finishing teams for smooth workflow. Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce wastage. Monitor machine maintenance and ensure proper utilization of resources. Conduct regular quality checks on stitched uppers to meet brand and exportrequirements. Manage manpower allocation and shift planning to achieve daily and monthly targets. Ensure all products meet company and client quality standards from raw materialselection to final packaging. Implement quality control systems to identify and resolve defects early in the productionprocess. Continuously review and improve production processes, reducing waste, optimizingresources, and increasing output. Manage raw material and finished goods inventory to ensure minimal wastage andoptimal stock levels. Coordinate with procurement to maintain timely supply of materials without overstocking.

Requirements

What are we looking for Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (Master’s degree is aplus). 12-16 years of hands-on experience in shoe/footwear manufacturing, with at least 5 years in amanagerial role. Proven expertise in production planning, quality management, and team leadership. In-depth knowledge of shoe manufacturing processes, materials, and technologies. Solid analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
