- Education Qualification :
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience :
- 2 to 6 years in Quality Control (preferably in fabrication, machining, food, pharma or heavy engineering industry)
- CTC Budget :

- Job Knowledge :
- Strong knowledge of fabrication, welding, machining, and finishing processes.
- Familiar with industry standards (ASME, DIN, ISO) and QAP/ITP requirements.
- Understanding of WPS, PQR, NDT, and customer documentation.
- Awareness of ISO 9001 systems and internal audit processes.
- Job Skills :
- Skilled in use of inspection instruments (Vernier, Micrometre, Height Gauge, etc.).
- Drawing interpretation, tolerance understanding, defect identification.
- Report writing, NCR generation, documentation control.
- Coordination with Production, Design, Planning & external agencies.
- Basic MS Excel and ERP/Documentation handling.
- (Sr. Engineer only): Exposure to customer interactions, TPI coordination & closure of critical NCRs.

- Roles & Responsibilities :
- Job Purpose :
- To ensure quality standards are met across all manufacturing stages through inspection, documentation,
and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Job Duties / Responsibilities :
- Perform dimensional, visual, and welding inspections at raw material, in-process, and final stages.
- Inspect bought-out and fabricated items as per drawing and inspection plan.
- Maintain traceability records for material, components, and welders.
- Raise NCRs and assist in root cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
- Maintain calibration status and handle instruments responsibly.
- Assist during third-party and customer inspections.
- Ensure QAP/ITP compliance and support for final documentation.
- (Sr. Engineer only): Lead small initiatives for quality improvement, support team in complex inspections, act as backup for Assistant Manager – QC in their absence.
