We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Medical Transcriptionist cum Typist to join our MRI and CT Scan Centre in Thane. The candidate will be responsible for accurately typing radiology reports, maintaining patient records, and supporting the diagnostic team with timely documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Transcribe and type MRI, CT Scan reports from dictated notes or draft reports provided by Radiologists.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and proper formatting of medical reports.
- Proofread reports for grammatical, spelling, and medical terminology errors.
- Generate final reports and coordinate with Radiologists for corrections and approvals.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of all medical information.
- Upload, print, and dispatch reports as required.
- Coordinate with reception and technical staff for report processing.
- Manage report databases and maintain digital records.
- Support administrative and documentation-related tasks assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

- Graduate or Diploma holder in any discipline.
- Certification or experience in Medical Transcription will be an added advantage.




- Basic knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and diagnostic imaging reports preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and computer operations.

Skills & Requirements

- Typing Speed: 30–40 WPM (Words Per Minute) with high accuracy.
- Good command of English grammar and spelling.
- Ability to understand medical terminology and radiology report formats.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Valuable organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple reports efficiently.
- Professional communication and teamwork skills.

Experience

- Freshers with excellent typing skills may apply.
- 1–3 years of experience in medical transcription, healthcare documentation, diagnostic centres, hospitals, or clinics preferred.

- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
