We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented GST Trainee to join our team. This is an excellent prospect for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance and advisory.
As a GST Junior Associate, you will assist in various GST-related tasks, including compliance, documentation, and reporting. You will work closely with experienced professionals to gain practical knowledge and skills in the field of taxation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9).
- Support the team in ensuring compliance with GST laws and regulations.
- Help in the reconciliation of GST-related accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of invoices, returns, and other supporting documents related to GST.
- Participate in the GST registration process for clients and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
- Conduct research on GST-related issues and stay updated with changes in legislation.
- Assist in internal audits and provide necessary documentation during external audits.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless GST compliance across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field .
- Basic understanding of GST .
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is a plus.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
