Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Civil Project Manager to lead and manage civil construction projects from planning to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing project execution, coordinating with internal teams, contractors, consultants, and clients, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution

- Plan, organize, and manage civil construction projects from initiation to handover.
- Prepare project schedules, work plans, and resource allocation strategies.
- Monitor day-to-day project activities and ensure timely execution as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Review project scope, technical documents, BOQs, and contract requirements.

Site Management

- Supervise site activities and ensure work progress meets project milestones.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors for smooth execution.
- Resolve site-related technical and operational issues promptly.
- Ensure availability of manpower, materials, and equipment at site.

Budget & Cost Control

- Prepare and monitor project budgets and cost estimates.
- Control project expenses and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources.
- Review contractor bills, subcontractor payments, and material consumption.
- Identify cost overruns and recommend corrective measures.

Quality Control

- Ensure all construction activities comply with project specifications, quality standards, and company procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and coordinate with quality teams to maintain work standards.
- Review test reports,



material approvals, and inspection records.

Safety & Compliance

- Ensure implementation of health, safety, and environmental standards at site.
- Verify compliance with local authority regulations, permits, and statutory requirements.
- Promote safe working practices among site staff and subcontractors.

Coordination & Communication

- Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, structural engineers, and internal departments.
- Attend project review meetings and provide updates on progress, risks, and action plans.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to management.
- Manage client expectations and maintain professional relationships.

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain project records, contracts, drawings, approvals, and correspondence.
- Prepare project progress reports, site instructions, delay reports, and handover documentation.
- Track variations, claims, and project changes with proper approvals.

Team Management

- Lead, guide, and monitor project engineers, supervisors, and support staff.
- Assign responsibilities and ensure effective team coordination.
- Evaluate team performance and support skill development where required.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering




- Additional certification in Project Management is an advantage

Required Experience

- 5–10 years of experience in civil construction/project execution
- Proven experience in managing residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects
- Experience in site execution, project planning, billing, contractor management, and coordination

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and project execution
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, BOQs, and technical documents
- Good project planning, scheduling, and coordination skills
- Budgeting and cost control knowledge
- Leadership and team management ability
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Familiarity with safety standards and construction regulations

Software Knowledge

- AutoCAD
- MS Excel
- MS Project / Primavera (preferred)
- ERP / Project tracking systems (if applicable)

- Willingness to travel / relocate to project sites if required

Employment Type

Full time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
