Job Title: Service Manager (Diesel Engine Service)

Location: Bilaspur / Raigarh, Chhattisgarh
Employment Type: Full time
Salary: 30,000 – 40,000 per month
Experience Required: 5–8 Years

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Service Manager to lead service operations for diesel engines and DG sets. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage service teams while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must have experience in the diesel engine, DG set, generator, or industrial service industry. Profiles from other industries will not be considered.Key Responsibilities

- Manage service operations for diesel engines and DG sets.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Plan and allocate manpower for installations, breakdowns, and preventive maintenance.
- Supervise and lead service engineers and technicians.
- Coordinate with internal departments for smooth service execution.
- Maintain service reports, MIS, warranty records, and documentation.
- Monitor service KPIs, response time,



turnaround time (TAT), and customer satisfaction.
- Build strong customer relationships and support service business growth.
- Promote AMC contracts, spare parts sales, and other service-related business opportunities.

Required Skills

- Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines and DG sets.
- Leadership and team management.
- Customer relationship management.
- Planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel and email communication.

Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Automobile Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

- 5–8 years of relevant experience.
- Mandatory: Hands-on experience in the diesel engine, DG set, generator, construction equipment, heavy equipment, or industrial service sector.
