Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Preschool teacher for our preschool centre in Kancheepuram. Role to ensure high-quality education delivery, and maintain a safe, engaging environment for children aged 1.5-6 years.

​Key Responsibilities

- ​Curriculum Delivery: Implement age-appropriate lesson plans based on Montessori or play-based learning principles.
- ​Classroom Management: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that stimulates learning.
- ​Student Assessment: Observe and document children’s progress, identifying areas for growth and celebrating milestones.
- ​Parent Communication: Provide regular updates to parents regarding their child’s development and daily activities.
- ​Creative Activity Planning: Organize and lead activities such as storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and outdoor play.
- ​Safety & Supervision: Ensure the health and safety of all children at all times, following school protocols and hygiene standards.

​Required Skills & Qualifications

- ​Educational Background: Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Montessori Training, or a related field.
- ​Communication:



Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.
- ​Patience & Empathy: A genuine love for working with young children and the ability to manage diverse behavioral needs with a calm demeanor.
- ​Creativity: Ability to design engaging visual aids and interactive learning experiences.
- ​Reliability: Strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining a consistent schedule for the students.

​Preferred Experience

- ​Previous experience working in a preschool or daycare setting.
- ​Knowledge of early childhood developmental stages.
- ​Skills in storytelling, puppetry, or basic music/rhymes.
