The SOC Analyst is responsible for day-to-day cybersecurity monitoring utilizing Insightu2019s security tools that are used to monitor and secure our clientsu2019 business. SOC Analysts are accountable for detecting threats, creating incident tickets, assisting with the response process, assisting the team in developing threat detection and prevention capabilities, and equipping clients to optimize their cybersecurity incident response capabilities. nnAs a SOC Analyst you will:nn * Participate in the daily cybersecurity threat monitoring of Insight Managed Security Services (MSS) clients n * Monitor SIEM incident queue and perform incident triage u0026 ticketing and support to resolution.



n * Perform threat analysis on events reported by security technologies supported by MSS. n * Identify indicators of compromise within threat events. n * Identify potential, false positives, policy violations, intrusion attempts and compromises. n * Enrich security events with intelligence from multiple technologies, open-source intelligence sources, and knowledge of the client environment.nnnnWhat weu2019re looking fornn * Bacheloru2019s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology or related experience. n * Position requires 2-5 years hands-on experience within a Security Operations Center. n * Working knowledge of scripting and query languages (preferably KQL) n * Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, M365 Defender, Secureworks Taegis, Service Now. n * Experience with Cloud based services (Azure). n * Robust analytical abilities and professional communication skills.nnnnWhat you can expect nWeu2019re legendary for taking care of you, your family and to help you engage with your local community.
