Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure and commission GPS tracking devices and fuel sensors on vehicles and heavy equipment.
- Monitor the live status of all GPS-enabled assets and ensure uninterrupted data transmission.
- Track equipment movement, utilization, idle time, engine hours, speed and route deviations.
- Monitor fuel consumption, fuel filling, and fuel theft alerts through the GPS platform.
- Identify offline, tampered, or malfunctioning GPS devices and coordinate timely repairs or replacements.
- Maintain 100% GPS device uptime by coordinating with vendors and site teams.
- Verify daily GPS data against logbooks, ERP records and diesel issue records.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports on fleet utilization, fuel efficiency and GPS health.
- Coordinate with site teams and GPS vendors for installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Maintain a database of installed devices, SIM cards, IMEI numbers, warranty status and service records.
- Investigate GPS alerts such as overspeeding, geofence violations, unauthorized movement, prolonged idling and device tampering.
- Ensure compliance with company GPS monitoring policies and SOPs.
- Support ERP integration with GPS and telematics data.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance fleet productivity, reduce fuel losses and optimize equipment utilization.
- Escalate critical issues related to GPS downtime, sensor failures or suspected misuse to management.
- Maintain documentation of installation reports, inspection records and vendor service reports.
- Ensure timely preventive maintenance of GPS devices and sensors to minimize downtime.
Required Skills:
- Good knowledge of computers, MS Office (especially Excel), and NWAYERP/GPS monitoring software.
- Hands-on understanding of GPS tracking systems, telematics, fuel sensors, and vehicle electrical systems.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and MIS reporting skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication and coordination skills to work effectively with site teams, vendors, and internal departments.
Qualification
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in GPS tracking, telematics, fleet management, or vehicle electronics.
- Freshers with relevant technical knowledge and practical exposure may also be considered.
- Experience in the construction, mining, logistics, or transportation industry will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
