Engineer Civil (High-Rise Execution)

Role Summary

The role is responsible for execution and supervision of core structural works for high-rise construction, including shuttering, reinforcement, and concreting. The position ensures quality, safety, and adherence to construction sequences for high-rise cycles, with robust focus on Mivan/formwork systems.

This is a critical site role ensuring floor cycle timelines, structural quality, and execution efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Shuttering / Formwork (Mivan) Supervision

- Supervise erection, alignment, and dismantling of Mivan / aluminium formwork systems.
- Ensure line, level, verticality, and dimensional accuracy of formwork before casting.
- Verify shuttering oil application, tightness, and leak-proofing before pour.
- Monitor cycle time (deck, wall, slab) and drive productivity improvements.

2. Reinforcement (Steel) Checking

- Check reinforcement as per approved drawings and BBS.
- Ensure correct spacing, cover blocks, laps, anchorage, and binding quality.
- Verify embedded items, sleeves, and inserts before closing shuttering.
- Coordinate with QA/QC for pre-pour inspections and approvals.

3. Concrete Works Execution

- Ensure readiness for pour (checklist completion: shuttering, steel, embeds, services).
- Supervise concrete pouring, vibration, finishing, and curing practices.
- Monitor slump, temperature, cube testing, and quality compliance.
- Ensure proper sequencing and joint treatment in high-rise pours.

4. High-Rise Cycle & Execution Control

- Drive floor cycle timelines (target cycle days)



and coordinate with planning team.
- Ensure resource readiness (labour, materials, equipment) for uninterrupted execution.
- Identify and resolve site execution bottlenecks proactively.

5. Quality & Safety Compliance

- Ensure execution as per drawings, specifications, and QA/QC standards.
- Implement checklists and hold-point inspections before each activity.
- Enforce safety practices during shuttering, reinforcement, and concreting works.

6. Coordination & Reporting

- Coordinate with Planning, QA/QC, MEP, and Design teams for smooth execution.
- Maintain daily progress reports, pour cards, and inspection records.
- Escalate deviations in quality, delays, or resource constraints.

Qualifications & Experience

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- 7–10 years of experience in high-rise construction (Mivan / aluminium formwork preferred)
- Strong hands-on experience in shuttering, reinforcement, and concrete works
- Exposure to 45+ storey or large-scale high-rise projects preferred
- Basic ERP and Excel knowledge for reporting and tracking

Pay: ₹542,966.31 - ₹886,968.56 per year
