Job Overview

Zaoq is looking for a hardworking and responsible Kitchen Steward to support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and smooth day-to-day kitchen operations. The ideal candidate should be physically fit, disciplined, and willing to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean and sanitize kitchen utensils, equipment, workstations, and kitchen areas.
- Wash dishes, plates, cutlery, and cooking utensils as required.
- Ensure proper cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in the kitchen.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic preparation and other support activities when required.
- Dispose of kitchen waste properly and maintain waste segregation practices.
- Ensure adequate availability of clean utensils and kitchen equipment during service.
- Maintain cleanliness of storage areas, floors, sinks, and other kitchen spaces.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
- Handle kitchen cleaning materials and equipment safely.




- Support the Chef and kitchen team during busy service hours.
- Follow restaurant SOPs and grooming standards.
- Perform other kitchen-related duties assigned by management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience & Knowledge

- 0–2 years of experience as a Kitchen Steward, Kitchen Helper, or similar role preferred.
- Freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn may also apply.
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and sanitation practices.
- Ability to handle cleaning and kitchen support tasks efficiently.
