Ved Sassomeccanica (India)Pvt.Ltd. is a Kanpur based Engineering Industry engaged in manufacturing of prestigious rolling stocks of Indian Railways. Company is manufacturing & supplying Bogie Frames and Fully Assembled Bogie for the manufacturing units such as Integral Coach Factory Chennai, Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala; Modern Coach Factory, Raebareli; Banaras Locomotive Works Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, Chittaranjan of Indian Railway as well as multinational companies such as M/s Siemens, M/s Medha & M/s TRSL, Kolkata.

Company is manufacturing large structures requiring accurate fabrications including Radiographic welding, NDT Testing & Precision CNC machining in large CMM machine. The company is equipped the State - of - the - Art manufacturing facilities for Bogie Frames for the Coaches of Vande Bharat Express, Rajdhani Express & Bogie Frames for the locomotives of Rajdhani / Shatabdi Express.

Our Company is certified with EN 15085-2, CL-1 (An International Welding Standards); IRIS /IS/TS 22163 (An International Railway Industry Standards); Qualified Welder as per ISO 9606-1; Qualified Welding Co-ordinators by IISCERT, Italy. RWC – IWE (Internation Welding Engineer) as per EN ISO 14731; Certified WPS and WPQR as per EN 15609-1/15614-1.

Position – GET/DET/ Mechanical Engineer

Experience- Fresher or Minimum 1 to 5 Yrs (must in engineering Industry)

Location- Kanpur Nagar, Uttar Pradesh

Qualification- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical

Salary Range- Fresher(15-20k) & Experienced(20 to 30 k) CTC pm ((Salary is negotiable based on merits for the right candidate)

Key Responsibilities

Machining Optimization: Develop and optimize CNC programs for heavy equipment and components (e.g., gears, shafts, structural frames)



to minimize cycle times and tool wear.

Design & Fixturing: Design jigs, fixtures, and specialized cutting tools for heavy steel machining in CAD/CAM environments.

Process Planning: Translate complex 2D/3D technical drawings and blueprints into actionable machining commands. Define machining parameters (SFM, RPM, feed rates) for heavy steel components.

Quality & Compliance: Conduct in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments (micrometres, dial indicators, CMM). Ensure compliance with GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform root-cause analysis for machining anomalies and collaborate with maintenance teams to repair CNC mechanical/hydraulic issues.

Drawing Study: Excellent knowledge in drawing.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Mechanical or Production Engineering.

Experience: 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in a heavy engineering or steel plant equipment manufacturing facility.

Technical Skills:

Strong proficiency in System software.

Deep understanding of material grades and heat treatment processes.

Aptitude: Solid understanding of CNC machine mechanics, spindle dynamics, fabrication, welding and heavy cutting loads.
