Job Description: The Montessori Teacher will be responsible for teaching children aged 2.5 to 6 years. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a nurturing, child-centered environment that embraces the Montessori philosophy and promotes the holistic development of each child. The teacher will play a key role in creating an engaging, hands-on learning experience that encourages independence, curiosity, and a love for learning in young children.

Key Responsibilities:

 Implement the Montessori method to guide children through key developmental

milestones, including practical life skills, sensorial exploration, language

development, and early mathematics.

 Create a prepared classroom environment that encourages independence, self-

directed learning, and respect for the learning process.

 Observe each child’s individual needs, interests, and progress, providing appropriate guidance and support to help them grow intellectually, emotionally, and socially.

 Facilitate learning through a variety of Montessori materials and activities that

promote creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

 Foster a calm, respectful, and nurturing atmosphere in the classroom, where children feel valued, secure,



and free to explore their interests at their own pace.

 Maintain open and effective communication with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on the child’s progress and development.

 Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure alignment with the

school’s overall educational philosophy and goals.

 Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by school leadership.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Any Graduation, and Montessori trained

Experience: Previous work experience of 2+ years is preferable.

Skills:

 A deep understanding of child development and the principles of the Montessori

method.

 Empathy, patience, and a passion for early childhood education, with the ability to

connect with young children and foster a supportive learning environment.

 Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.

 Strong organizational skills, with the ability to maintain a well-ordered and stimulating learning environment.
