Job Title: React Native Pod Lead

Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated React Native Pod Lead to step into a "Player-Coach" role. You will be the technical anchor for a dedicated mobile development pod, managing 3-5 mid-level and junior React Native developers while remaining heavily hands-on. You will spend roughly 50% of your time architecting and developing complex mobile solutions and the other 50% mentoring your team, conducting interviews, reviewing code and ensuring your pod delivers high-performance mobile applications on time.

Key Responsibilities:
● Team Building & Pod Leadership: Interview, hire and train your own pod members. Lead the day-to-day technical execution of 3-5 mid-level and junior mobile developers, guiding them on best practices, unblocking technical challenges and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
● Hands-on Mobile Engineering: Act as the lead contributor for your pod. You will tackle the most complex features, architect scalable mobile solutions and write clean, maintainable and production-ready React Native code.
● Code Quality & PR Reviews: Enforce high coding standards through rigorous Pull Request (PR) reviews. Ensure application performance, maintainability, scalability and adherence to best practices.
● App Performance & Troubleshooting: Monitor application performance, memory leaks, native bridge interactions and UI responsiveness. Act as the first line of defense for diagnosing and resolving production issues.
● App Store Operations:



Oversee the mobile deployment lifecycle, ensuring smooth builds, releases and updates across both Apple App Store and Google Play Store platforms.
● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers and Backend Engineers to convert business requirements and Figma designs into seamless, native mobile experiences.
● Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement across your pod's development workflows, advocating modern mobile development practices, automation and agile methodologies.

Required Skills:
● 3-5 years of hands-on experience developing and shipping production-grade mobile applications using React Native and JavaScript (ES6+) / TypeScript.
● Proven Leadership Potential: Experience interviewing candidates, mentoring junior/mid-level developers, leading technical initiatives or serving as the primary technical resource for a team.
● Mobile UI Development: Deep proficiency in HTML, CSS and modern utility-first frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
● State Management: Extensive experience with Redux for managing complex application state and asynchronous data flows.
● API Integration:



Skilled in integrating RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous programming using Promises and async/await.
● Testing: Strong familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library (RTL) or Mocha.
● Mobile Tooling: Solid understanding of React Native development tools and build environments, including Metro Bundler, NPM, Git and CocoaPods.

Preferred Qualifications
● Test-Driven Development (TDD): Candidates with hands-on experience implementing TDD practices for mobile applications will be given strong preference.
● Mobile CI/CD: Familiarity with mobile build automation and deployment tools such as Fastlane, Bitrise, or cloud-based CI/CD pipelines.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
