We are looking for a technically strong Senior HVAC Engineering & Costing Engineer to drive end-to-end HVAC system design, analysis, and commercial evaluation for industrial, commercial, and institutional projects. This role blends engineering precision with cost optimization, ensuring every solution is technically sound, energy-efficient, and commercially competitive.

The position requires deep expertise in thermal engineering, airflow management, and system configuration, along with hands-on experience in preparing detailed technical drawings and project cost assessments.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering Design & System Planning

Perform comprehensive heat load assessments for diverse facility types.

Calculate system capacity requirements including TR, CFM, air changes per hour (ACH), and static pressure.

Design duct networks, airflow distribution systems, and optimized equipment layouts.

Apply psychrometric analysis to evaluate performance under varying climatic and operational conditions.

Select and size HVAC equipment including AHUs, Air Washers, Ductable Units, and energy-productive cooling systems.

Prepare detailed engineering drawings, GA layouts, and duct routing plans using AutoCAD.

Estimation & Commercial Analysis

Develop detailed BOQs aligned with engineering specifications and project scope.

Prepare techno-commercial proposals and cost breakdowns based on finalized designs.

Validate BOQs received from project or sales teams for technical consistency.

Support tender documentation, compliance statements, and technical clarifications.

Identify cost optimization opportunities without compromising system performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with execution, procurement,



and sales teams to ensure alignment between design and site requirements.

Engage with consultants and contractors to address technical queries and design adjustments.

Participate in design review meetings and value engineering initiatives.

Provide technical guidance during project handover and implementation phases.

Candidate Requirements

Education

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.

Technical Expertise

Strong experience in HVAC system design and heat load calculation.

In-depth understanding of airflow dynamics, duct sizing, and pressure loss calculations.

Proficiency in psychrometric analysis and system performance optimization.

Practical experience in BOQ preparation and cost estimation.

Advanced AutoCAD skills for HVAC drafting and layout preparation.

Familiarity with HVAC equipment selection and system integration principles.
