About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure backend systems. The role involves developing microservices, APIs, and enterprise-grade applications while ensuring best practices in software development, testing, deployment, and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain REST/gRPC microservices and APIs (internal & external).

- Build backend components using Golang, Terraform, AWS, SQL/NoSQL.

- Drive system performance, scalability, and security with high availability.

- Collaborate in requirements analysis, architecture review, CI/CD implementation, and agile ceremonies.

- Mentor junior developers, conduct peer code reviews, and maintain automated test coverage (TDD/BDD).

- Ensure effective deployment, monitoring, and incident resolution.

- Prepare technical documentation (APIs,



data dictionaries, design specs).

Critical Skill Set:

- Languages & Frameworks: Golang, Protobuf, Terraform.

- Backend Expertise: Microservices architecture, REST & GraphQL APIs, Partner integrations.

- Databases: SQL & NoSQL (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Document Stores).

- Cloud & DevOps: AWS (hands-on), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code.

- Messaging & Monitoring: Kafka, SQS/SNS, ActiveMQ, Prometheus, Splunk, Recent Relic, Opentelemetry.

- Testing: TDD/BDD, automated unit & integration testing.

- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, ownership mindset, agile experience, mentoring, and clear communication.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

- 5–7 years of backend development in B2B SaaS/enterprise applications.

- AWS Certified Developer (preferred).
