Role Summery:

The Library In-Charge will build a energetic, innovation-led library ecosystem blending physical and digital resources. The role focuses on driving school-wide literacy, developing strategic programs, managing library operations, and creating an inspiring creative space for the entire learning community.

Work Location: Manjri - Pune

Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the library's mission and school objectives.
Manage day-to-day library operations including book acquisition, budget monitoring, and staff scheduling.
Create and sustain an innovation-led workplace to continuously improve library services and user experience.
Direct the acquisition, organization, maintenance, and evaluation of all library materials including books, periodicals, digital resources, audiobooks, and multimedia content.
Coordinate and promote educational, cultural, and recreational programs including author talks, workshops, and book clubs.




Ensure effective operation and maintenance of library facilities with focus on safety, accessibility, and cleanliness.
Monitor and evaluate library programs through data analysis, user feedback, and performance metrics.
Implement continuous improvements and innovations to enhance library effectiveness and efficiency.
Create and implement a Whole School Literacy and Reading Programs to enhance reading skills of every student.
Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into classroom learning activities.

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Mass Media, Journalism, Library Science, or a related field.
Experience working with children's literature, magazines, or other educational materials preferred.
Knowledge of digital library tools, audiobooks, and multimedia resources.
Robust communication skills and a passion for reading and literacy development.
