Responsibilities:
Review project drawings, specifications, scope of work, and tender documents.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, and indirect costs.
Develop project budgets and cost plans based on project requirements.
Perform quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
Analyze project risks and incorporate contingencies into estimates.
Prepare tender submissions, bid proposals, and commercial documents.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning, and project management teams.
Monitor market trends, material prices, and labor rates to ensure competitive pricing.
Support project cost control activities during project execution.
Maintain estimation databases and historical cost records.
Prepare cost comparison reports and value engineering recommendations.
