Role Description The Senior Accountant – Taxation & Compliance role is a full-time, in office position based in Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities
Responsible for independently handle SEZ DTA endorsement activity.
Experience in managing import procedures for SEZ & STPI (Bonding/Debonding of Assets, Maintenance of Bond register, import document verification etc.)
Working knowledge of preparing and filing SEZ & STPI compliances and ensure compliance with SEZ & STPI laws
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all tax and regulatory compliance-related documents.




Liaise with internal teams to resolve compliance-related issues.
Working knowledge of preparing and filing monthly GST returns- GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B
Experience in dealing with SEZ & GST Authorities

Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in indirect taxation, with a focus on GST compliance and return filing
Prior experience in a fintech industry preferred.
Basic accounting knowledge required.
Proficiency in GST portal (GSTN) — filing returns, downloading data, and navigating reconciliation workflows
Advanced Excel skills — pivot tables, advanced lookups, and ability to handle large datasets; exposure to Power Query would be an added advantage
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when working under volume and time pressure
Ability to proactively identify and flag anomalies rather than waiting to be directed
Strong communication skills — both oral and written
Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders — internal teams, tax authorities, and auditors
Sound logical reasoning — ability to grasp concepts and apply judgement
Working Knowledge of Finance Systems / ERP (Oracle) is preferable
