Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership * Lead end-to-end plant operations including Production, Maintenance, Utilities, EHS, Quality, SCM, and Administration.
Achieve production targets in line with business plans.
Improve plant capacity utilization and operational efficiency.
Drive TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and digital initiatives.
Ensure smooth plant commissioning or expansion (if applicable).
Safety, Health & Workplace (EHS)
Ensure strict compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
Drive Zero Harm / Zero Incident culture.
Lead HAZOP studies, risk assessments, and process safety management.
Ensure compliance with:
Factory Act
Pollution Control Board norms
Hazardous Chemicals Handling Rules
Local environmental regulations
Chair safety review meetings and audits.
Financial & P&L; Management
Own plant-level P&L; and cost optimization initiatives.
Manage operating budgets and CapEx projects.
Drive reduction in conversion cost per MT.
Optimize working capital and inventory levels.
Improve EBITDA and productivity metrics.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure adherence to ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).




Ensure compliance with customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
Drive continuous improvement in yield, cycle time, and waste reduction.
Lead internal and external audits.
People & Industrial Relations
Lead and mentor cross-functional teams (200–1000+ workforce).
Drive performance management and talent development.
Maintain solid industrial relations and manage union interactions.
Build succession pipeline for key roles.
Stakeholder & Community Management
Interface with corporate leadership and business heads.
Coordinate with government and statutory authorities.
Maintain positive relationships with local communities.
Support customer visits and global audits.

Required Qualification: - M.SC/B.E/B.Tech- Chemical
