Job description:
Position: Pharmacy Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in dispensing prescription and over-the-counter medications.
- Verify and label medications accurately.
- Maintain pharmacy stock and monitor expiry dates.
- Order and receive medications and supplies.
- Keep pharmacy records and documentation up to date.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies and safety standards.
- Provide courteous service to customers and patients.
- Verify prescription details and ensure accurate medication labeling.
- Maintain medication storage according to safety and regulatory standards.
- Process prescriptions, billing, and insurance claims as applicable.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Pharmacy Assistant (BSS)
- 0-2 Years Of Experience
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations and inventory management.
- Positive communication and organizational skills.
