Job Summary – Software Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to develop, test, and support software applications used in laser marking, laser cutting, automation, machine control, and industrial laser systems at Scantech Lasers Pvt. Ltd. The candidate will be responsible for software development, troubleshooting, machine integration, user interface support, and coordination with the production, design, and service teams to ensure smooth machine operation and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities & Contributions
1. Developing and optimizing SCADA software for pharma laser marking machines using WPF, C#, and .NET.
2. Working on MOTF (Marking On The Fly) synchronization and rotary marking optimization.
3. Improving laser marking accuracy, scanner timing, marking quality, and parameter optimization.
4. Integration and testing with PLC systems and industrial machine hardware.
5. Performing production issue analysis and real-time troubleshooting for industrial machines.
6.



Optimizing marking speed and reducing laser cycle time for high-speed tablet marking applications.
7. Working with SAMLight / SCAPS laser software configuration, calibration, and process optimization.
8. Using EZCAD software for laser machine parameter configuration and machine operations.
9. Working with USC Card and LMC Card based laser control systems. Supporting machine commissioning, FAT/SAT testing, production validation, and deployment activities. 10. Coordinating with production, service, and customer teams for technical support and improvements.
11. Developing and maintaining software solutions for laser marking machines, drilling machines, and cutting machines.
12. Handling machine automation logic, process monitoring, and real-time machine communication.
13. Managing SQL Server database operations and production data integration.
14. Collaborating with hardware and automation teams for machine integration and testing.
