- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry or equivalent qualification
- Freshers with relevant laboratory knowledge may also apply.

Salary

Between 2LPA to Up to ₹2.4 LPA (Based on experience and competency)

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Chemist to perform laboratory testing and water quality analysis for STP/WTP/ETP operations. The candidate will be responsible for water sample collection, chemical analysis, reagent preparation, laboratory equipment operation, calibration, and maintaining accurate testing records to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect water samples from STP/WTP/ETP plants as per the testing schedule.
- Perform routine physical, chemical, and analytical testing of water samples.
- Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and dosing chemicals as per standard operating procedures.
- Operate laboratory instruments and testing equipment efficiently.
- Perform routine calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Record, analyze, and maintain laboratory test results accurately.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly laboratory testing reports.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety procedures, and laboratory protocols.
- Monitor water treatment process parameters and report any abnormalities.
- Maintain laboratory records, test logs, and documentation.




- Coordinate with the Operations team for corrective actions based on test results.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper housekeeping of the laboratory.

Technical Requirements

- Basic knowledge of wet chemistry techniques.
- Understanding of analytical instrumentation.
- Knowledge of laboratory quality control (QC) procedures.
- Familiarity with water quality testing parameters such as pH, TDS, COD, BOD, TSS, Hardness, Alkalinity, Chloride, etc.
- Basic understanding of laboratory safety practices and chemical handling.

Required Skills

- Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory documentation.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word is preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience in STP/WTP/ETP laboratories will be preferred.
- Freshers with strong laboratory knowledge are encouraged to apply.
- Willingness to work at the Chikhali, Pune location.
