Role & responsibilities
Lead package engineering activities for rotating equipment and process packages.
Prepare and issue technical specifications and equipment lists.
Coordinate vendor selection activities, including technical bid evaluation (TBE), bid clarification meetings, and technical offer reviews.
Manage package engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle (Pre-PO, Post-PO, FAT, Engineering Support, and Commissioning).
Ensure package compliance with project specifications and client requirements.
Interface with multidisciplinary engineering teams, supply chain, vendors, and project stakeholders.
Provide technical support during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), safety studies, commissioning, and project execution.
Work with process pumps, process compressors, utility pumps, and rotating equipment packages used in Offshore Oil & Gas projects.
Ensure compliance with international engineering codes, standards, and best engineering practices.
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 12 years of experience in Rotating Equipment Engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
Minimum 3 years of Offshore Oil & Gas project experience.
FPSO project experience is highly preferred.
Solid experience in Package Engineering, FEED, Detailed Engineering, Technical Specifications, Vendor Management, Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE), and Commissioning Support.
Hands-on experience with Process Pumps, Process Compressors, Utility Pumps, Chemical Injection Packages, Dehydration Packages, Inert Gas Generator (IGG), HPU, and other rotating equipment packages.
Working knowledge of PV Elite, Compress, AutoCAD, and Navisworks 3D will be an advantage.
Solid communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
