Shopify D2C Ecommerce Platform Engineer Key Responsibilities
Build and implement Shopify-based D2C ecommerce platforms and stores.
Contribute to both initial platform setup and ongoing enhancements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Engineering).
Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions for global users.
Work across multiple architecture layers to deliver seamless user experience.
Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code.

Required Skills & Qualifications
9 16 years of overall software development experience.
Robust experience with distributed systems and AWS cloud technologies.
Proficiency in:
Python
JavaScript
TypeScript
React
GraphQL
Experience with databases and data technologies such as:
Neo4j
Kafka
MySQL
Snowflake
Solid understanding of:
Microservices architecture
REST APIs and OAuth
Low-latency system design
Hands-on experience in unit testing, integration testing, and Agile methodologies.
Preferred Skills
Strong experience in Shopify development (Themes, Custom Apps, API Integrations).
Knowledge of data modeling and schema design.
Ability to define best practices and drive engineering excellence.
