Role & responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy scalable big data solutions using Hadoop ecosystem technologies.
Build and optimize data processing workflows for large-scale data analytics.
Develop applications and automation scripts using Python or Scala.
Integrate and manage data ingestion and transformation tools such as HDFS, Hive, Sqoop, Oozie, and Kafka.
Monitor, maintain, and tune Hadoop clusters to ensure performance, stability, and scalability.
Troubleshoot big data infrastructure issues and ensure high availability of systems.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.
Ensure data quality, governance, security,
and compliance across distributed settings.
Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, reviews, and release cycles.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, best practices, and process guidelines.
