Key Responsibilities
Supervise work: Oversee daily building tasks and check that work matches design drawings.
Set out the site: Mark out the layout, levels, and boundaries on the ground.
Solve problems: Fix technical difficulties and answer questions from workers or builders.
Safety and quality: Enforce health and safety rules and run quality checks on materials.
Report progress: Write daily logs and update project managers on progress.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s or diploma in civil engineering or construction.
Skills: Valuable knowledge of CAD software, reading blueprints, and math.
Communication: Transparent speaking skills to work with clients, architects, and laborers.
