Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer Maintenance to manage preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities for production equipment in a wiring harness manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have robust troubleshooting skills, experience with TPM practices, and a positive understanding of quality systems such as IATF 16949 and ISO 14001.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct daily maintenance review meetings and maintain Minutes of Meeting (MOM).
Lead preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities for:
Wire Cutting & Stripping Machines
Crimping Machines & Applicators
End-of-Line (EOL) Test Tables
Assembly Test Tables
Taping Machines
Ultrasonic Welding Equipment
Soldering Equipment
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA) for recurring machine failures.
Monitor and improve equipment performance through MTTR and MTBF analysis.




Ensure timely maintenance, validation, and readiness of tools, jigs, fixtures, and testing devices.
Coordinate with Production to ensure machine availability and maintenance planning.
Maintain maintenance records, breakdown history, PM checklists, service reports, and master equipment lists.
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and customer-specific requirements during internal and external audits.
Prepare and analyze reports related to equipment downtime, preventive maintenance compliance, and spare parts consumption.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, TPM, and Lean Maintenance practices.
Support installation, commissioning, equipment trials, and layout modifications for recent machinery.
Supervise maintenance technicians and junior engineers, ensuring quality execution of maintenance activities.
Train maintenance team members on troubleshooting techniques, equipment handling, and safety practices.
Ensure effective shift handover with proper communication of machine status and pending maintenance activities.
