Role Overview

We are looking for a visionary Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. As a fusion restaurant, your primary mission is to create a menu that bridges traditional techniques with contemporary, global flavors—appealing to the diverse and evolving palate of the Kharadi community. You will have full authority over kitchen operations, menu development, and team leadership, ensuring that every plate served meets our high standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Culinary Innovation & Menu Strategy

· Menu Development: Create and evolve an innovative fusion menu that combines authentic flavors with creative presentation.

· Quality Control: Inspect and "polish" every dish before it leaves the pass to ensure consistency in taste, texture, and visual appeal.

· Trend Awareness: Stay updated on global food trends and local Pune dining preferences to keep our offerings competitive.

Kitchen Operations & Management

· Leadership: Manage, train, and mentor the kitchen staff, fostering a culture of cooperation, respect, and high performance.

· Inventory & Cost Control: Oversee stock levels, manage supplier relationships,



and monitor food costs to maintain profitability without compromising quality.

· Operational Efficiency: Maintain rigorous standards for hygiene, safety, and sanitation (HACCP compliance).

· Service Excellence: Direct kitchen activities during high-pressure service hours to ensure timely delivery and seamless coordination with the front-of-house team.

Requirements & Qualifications

· Experience: Proven track record (minimum 4–5 years) as a Head Chef or solid Sous Chef, with specific experience in fusion or multi-cuisine environments.

· Education: Degree or Diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent skilled certification.

· Culinary Versatility: Mastery of diverse cooking techniques and an intuitive ability to balance flavors.

· Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to manage a team under pressure and resolve conflicts effectively.

· Operational Savvy: Proficiency in restaurant management software, POS systems, and inventory management tools.
