Job Description Deputy Manager Operations

Location: Dankuni, Kolkata

Key Responsibilities
Manage and monitor end-to-end shift operations at the sort center, ensuring seamless execution of daily activities.
Handle sort center operations with a focus on operational excellence, process adherence, and productivity.
Prepare and manage workforce rosters, including complex shift planning and manpower allocation scenarios.
Drive continuous improvement in key performance indicators (KPIs), quality metrics, and operational efficiency.
Lead and implement site-level operational initiatives, improvement charters, and process enhancement projects.
Develop and maintain MIS reports, analyze operational data, and generate actionable insights to support decision-making.
Demonstrate a data-driven approach by performing detailed data analysis, identifying trends, and recommending process improvements.
Resolve customer escalations within the defined turnaround time (TAT) while ensuring a high standard of service.
Monitor operational performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to achieve business objectives.




Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of operational processes and adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs).

Required Skills Qualifications
Strong understanding of sort center operations and shift management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and derive meaningful insights.
Experience in MIS reporting, performance tracking, and operational analytics.
Excellent planning, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Robust communication skills with a focus on customer-centric problem resolution.
