We are seeking a creative and passionate TGT Art Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging art instruction to secondary students, encouraging creativity, and helping students develop their artistic skills while preparing them for assessments and exhibitions.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development:
Design and implement cutting-edge art lesson plans aligned with the curriculum and educational standards.
Instruction:
Teach various art forms such as drawing, painting, craft, and basic design concepts to secondary grade students.
Assessment:
Evaluate student work through projects, assignments, and practical assessments; provide constructive feedback.
Classroom Management:
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and creative classroom workplace that promotes self -expression and participation.
Support and Guidance:
Encourage creativity and guide students in developing their artistic abilities; prepare students for exhibitions, competitions, and school events.
Collaboration:
Work with colleagues to support interdisciplinary activities and contribute to school functions, displays, and cultural programs.
Career development:
Stay updated with modern art techniques, tools, and teaching methodologies; participate in training and workshops.
Communication:
Maintain open communication with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and activities.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fine Arts or related field; B.Ed. preferred.
Experience:
Prior teaching experience in Art at the school level is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Strong artistic and creative skills
- Knowledge of different art techniques and mediums
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and engage students
Certifications:
Valid teaching certification as per local regulations.
