Video Editor

Job Summary:

The Video Editor will be responsible for transforming raw footage into polished, engaging, and performance-driven video content tailored for e-commerce and social media audiences. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in short-form content editing, motion graphics, audience retention strategies, and platform-specific video optimization.

This role requires creativity, technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Edit and assemble raw footage into professional, visually engaging, and high-quality video content.
- Create short-form content optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Ads, and Amazon product marketing.
- Repurpose long-form content into attention-grabbing short-form videos with solid hooks and storytelling techniques.
- Add captions, motion graphics, transitions, jump cuts, sound effects, stock footage, animations, and visual enhancements to improve engagement and retention.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, creative, and e-commerce teams to execute content strategies effectively.
- Produce product-focused videos for Amazon and e-commerce brands, including promotional ads, lifestyle videos, UGC-style content, tutorials, and product showcases.
- Ensure all videos meet brand guidelines, technical specifications, and platform requirements.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Contribute creative ideas and provide problem-solving solutions during brainstorming and content planning sessions.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, editing styles, platform algorithms, and content strategies.
- Organize and manage projects efficiently using tools like Airtable, Notion, Trello, or similar workflow management platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing social media, advertising, e-commerce,



or digital marketing content.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, CapCut, or similar professional editing software.
- Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, aspect ratios, and platform-specific optimization techniques.
- Experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Amazon listings, or e-commerce brands.
- Strong storytelling ability with excellent pacing, editing sense, composition, and visual creativity.
- Experience using AI-powered editing tools and workflows for captions, audio enhancement, content repurposing, and editing efficiency.
- Knowledge of motion graphics, color correction, sound design, transitions, and visual effects.
- Ability to identify creative challenges and deliver quick, effective editing solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and perform effectively under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience editing Amazon product videos or performance marketing creatives.
- Knowledge of social media analytics and audience engagement strategies.
- Basic experience with graphic design, animation, or motion graphics is an advantage.
- Experience working in a fast-paced agency or content production environment.

- Full-time position (40 hours per week)

- Ability to work in EST time zone
- Minimum 8GB RAM system requirement
- Stable internet connection with at least 25 Mbps speed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
