Role & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation workflows using VMware vRealize Automation (vRA 8.x) and vRealize Orchestrator (vRO 8.x).
Create and manage vRA Blueprints (YAML), service catalogs, and self-service provisioning solutions.
Develop automation scripts using JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
Configure and manage Ansible Tower and develop Ansible Playbooks for configuration management.
Automate provisioning, deployment, and configuration across Windows, Linux, VMware vSphere, AWS, and Azure settings.
Troubleshoot and support automation platforms, workflows, and orchestration services.
Integrate automation with enterprise infrastructure using VMware REST APIs and third-party tools.
Collaborate with Infrastructure, Database, Middleware, Security, Operations, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable automation solutions.
Document automation workflows, create functional test cases, and follow enterprise best practices.





Preferred Candidate Profile
5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Automation, VMware Administration, or DevOps.
Robust hands-on experience with VMware vRealize Automation (vRA 8.x), vRealize Orchestrator (vRO 8.x), and VMware vSphere.
Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, and Bash scripting.
Experience with Terraform, Ansible Tower, and Ansible Playbooks.
Positive knowledge of Windows and Linux administration.
Exposure to AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation workflows, and configuration management.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
VMware Automation or Cloud certifications are an added advantage.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
