Role & responsibilities
Technical Escalation & Ticket Resolution
Oversee maintenance tickets submitted by resort operation teams, driving them to swift closure.
Guide in office technicians through primary troubleshooting for civil, electrical, and mechanical assets.
Step in as the technical expert for complex breakdowns, including Diesel Generators (DG sets), solar water heaters, and gas geysers.
Ensure aesthetic standards by coordinating routine civil fixes, including premium room painting and carpentry works.
Manage repair & maintenance tasks for 5 to 8 resort properties in coordination with on site technician , vendors & OEM's
Cost Estimation & Rate Negotiation
Develop accurate cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for maintenance projects and civil upgrades.
Analyze vendor quotes and break down labor/material costs to negotiate highly competitive rates.
Audit completed works against the initial estimate before verifying invoices for final payment approval.
Vendor Management
Manage & build a network of specialized regional vendors and contractors across different resort locations.
Onboard and deploy vendors efficiently when issues scale beyond the skill set of local technicians.Monitor contractor SLA compliance,
ensuring high-quality work and zero disruption to the guest experience.
Coordinate procurement of repair & maintenance material and labour for on time completion of engineering tickets
Traning & Coordination : Existing resort properties have technician's who need to be trained periodically
5.Reporting: Prepare reports for repair & maintenance costs etimates and actuals
6.Project Management: Recent resort properties will require infrastructure due diligence to be done to arrive at project cost and project duration. Coordinate with central project vendor to take project to completion
Preferred candidate profile
a. Work expereince of minimum 2 years in on site project management
b. Electrcial engineering background is preffered
c. Willing to travel for 10 days in a month for property inspections
d. Willing to train maintenance technicians on a periodic basis
e. Willing to project manage current resort setup
Education:
B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
4+ years of proven experience in facility maintenance, project execution, or engineering operations.
Hospitality background (resorts, hotels, or premium real estate complexes) is a massive advantage.
