Roles and Responsibility
Analyze medical records and assign accurate codes for diagnoses and procedures.
Review and update existing coding systems to ensure compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with healthcare specialists to clarify coding discrepancies.
Develop and implement new coding guidelines and policies.
Conduct quality checks on coded data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Provide training and support to junior coders on coding best practices.
Job Requirements
Robust knowledge of coding principles, including E/M, CCS, Surgery, COC, Multi-specialty Denials, CPC, Anesthesia, Medical Coding, and Radiology.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to meet productivity and quality standards.
Familiarity with healthcare software and technology is an asset.
