Job Title:- Technical Sales Engineer
Location: Mumbai (Borivali East)
Reports To: -
1st Line to contact – Sr. Manager Sales & Technical.
2nd Line to contact – GM – Technical
3rd Line to contact – GM – Operations
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, recommending appropriate products or solutions, and driving sales through strong product knowledge and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a deep understanding of the company’s technical products and solutions
Identify customer needs and provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education
Conduct product presentations and technical demonstrations for clients
Work closely with engineering team to ensure solutions meet customer needs
Follow up on sales inquiries and close sales deals effectively
Attend industry exhibitions, trade shows, and client meetings to generate leads
Provide after-sales support and handle technical queries from clients
Maintain solid relationship with existing and new customers
Communication with foreign principals.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering
Skills Required:
Candidate should be fluent in English.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred experience in grinding wheels / industrial equipment, machinery, or similar fields.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team workplace.
Positive knowledge of understanding engineering drawings.
Strong understanding of technical products and ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
The candidate should be willing to travel frequently.
