Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of rolling mill electrical equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC motors, VFDs, soft starters, PLCs, HMIs, and control panels.
Maintain electrical distribution systems, MCCs, transformers, switchgear, and power cables.
Inspect and maintain sensors, encoders, limit switches, proximity switches, and instrumentation.
Diagnose electrical faults and minimize production downtime.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Ensure proper calibration and functioning of electrical instruments.
Support commissioning and startup of recent equipment and production lines.
Maintain maintenance records, reports, and spare parts inventory.
Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)



procedures and all electrical safety standards.
Coordinate with mechanical, production, and automation teams during maintenance activities.

Required Skills:
Robust troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
Experience with PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, or equivalent).
Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and DC drives.
Familiarity with electrical safety practices and LOTO procedures.
Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Positive communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns.
