Job Description

We are hiring experienced 1040 Individual Tax Preparers and 1040 Individual Tax Reviewers for a leading Big 4 Consulting Firm. This opportunity is ideal for specialists with strong expertise in U.S. Individual Taxation (Form 1040) and hands-on experience in preparing and reviewing Federal, State, and Multi-State individual tax returns.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review U.S. Individual Income Tax Returns (Form 1040).
Determine filing status, filing requirements, and dependent eligibility.
Review and apply Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and Child Tax Credit (CTC).
Prepare and review Federal, State, and Multi-State Individual Tax Returns.
Process Wage Income (W-2), Retirement Income, Pension Income, and Other Income (Forms 1099).
Determine Federal Tax Residency Status.
Prepare and review Itemized Deductions (Schedule A).
Handle Education Tax Credits, Energy Effective Credits, and Retirement-related deductions.
Prepare and review Rental Property Income (Schedule E), Self-Employment Income (Schedule C), Capital Gains and Losses (Schedule D),



and Partnership/S Corporation K-1 reporting.
Handle Employee Stock Compensation (RSUs, ESPPs, Stock Options) and Cryptocurrency transactions.
Calculate Capital Loss Carryovers.
Ensure compliance with IRS regulations and internal quality standards.

Required Skills
Minimum 2+ years of experience in Form 1040 U.S. Tax(Mandatory)

K-1 Reporting
Capital Gains & Losses

Preferred Qualifications
B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA / CPA / EA or equivalent.
Experience with GoSystem, CCH Axcess, UltraTax, ProConnect, or similar U.S. tax software is preferred.
