Roles and Responsibility
Analyze medical records to assign accurate codes for diagnoses and procedures.
Review and interpret medical information to identify relevant details for coding purposes.
Assign appropriate codes using knowledge of coding systems and regulations.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate and effective coding processes.
Stay updated with changes in coding guidelines and regulations to improve coding quality.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA policies when handling patient information.
Job Requirements
Strong understanding of coding principles, including E/M, CCS, Surgery, COC, Multi-specialty Denials, CPC, Anesthesia, Medical Coding, and Radiology.
Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a rapid-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Robust communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Familiarity with CRM/IT Enabled Services/BPO industry practices and standards is an asset.
